Opening weekend is an event for the family with acclaimed Brooklyn based troupe Bindlestiff Family Cirkus! Be prepared ground performances and make sure to look up as we fill the vertical tent space to gravity defying feats of honed circus skill!
Bindlestiff prides itself on being an integral part of America’s outstanding folk traditions of circus, sideshow, and vaudeville. Bindlestiff has presented nearly 600 of the world’s top artists in the circus and variety fields. Shows include home base regions of NYC and the Hudson Valley, as well as national touring in the United States, have engaged audiences in the hundreds of thousands, with performances in theaters, Spiegeltents, big tops, cruise ships, fairs and festivals, including 2017’s Smithsonian Folklife Festival, celebrating the cultural heritage of the American circus on the National Mall in Washington, D.C.

Join us at this unique fundraising performance as we showcase our international friends, Cirque Kikasse! Showing up on a self contained performance stage on wheels, these avant garde performers will present SANTÉ! (Cheers!) a dynamic circus show with high-level acrobatics, contagious energy and breathtaking balances …
The troupe's mission is to prepare the Terrace for the service by unveiling their unique installation. Ranging from arranging furniture that turns into a balancing tower 30 feet off the ground, to playfully inefficient cleaning of the truck and trampoline, to overflowing the popcorn machine. A fun concept with a virtuosity to give thrills to even the most seasoned.
In addition, a variety of happenstance entertainment will keep you guessing all under the skillful manipulations of Magician and Ringmaster Jim Snack!
INCLUDED: Food will consist of lite circus fare and a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
2024 : Youth Circus Camp
The CCiAC is proud to introduce a Summer Youth Circus Camp! Great for first time circus students, or returning students eager to deepen their expertise. This occurs under a Big Top Circus Tent in Prospect Park in Troy, New York.
This year we have partnered up with Westchester Circus Arts and will be bringing in seasoned instructors in aerial and ground-based circus arts. Past instructors include experience with Cirque du Soleil, Bindlestiff and the Big Apple Circus.

Pack a blanket and a picnic basket and join us for family-friendly workshops and performances in the park! Event is FREE and open to the public. Performance seating first come first serve.
Join us for our Family Friendly Circus Show with woman owned circus Westchester Circus Arts including ringmaster, specialty performers versed in the performance of aerial, acrobatics, juggling, rola bola and so much more! Also, plan on sticking around for our "Circus Extravaganza Zone." This must see event is interactive entertainment for all ages to enjoy and led by talented circus performers! Participatory experiential opportunities include : tightwire, stilts, hoops, juggling, spinning plates, diablos, bean bag toss, and more!
Workshops are appropriate for ages 5 - 18 yrs. Workshop space will be limited, make sure you are on the mailing list for updates!
